What is the difference between a bmw 325ci and 330ci
I beleive there is about a hp difference between the two, which makes a very noticable difference in performane. I chose the because I wanted a sports car. Must say that this is a matter of what you like in a car. Several folks have posted good responses in terms of value for the money.
I would say if this is what you like, you should probably take the with all the features you can add, especially if you prefer to cruise from place to place rather than push the car even so, the is not a weak engine at all! I would suggest that you spend the extra cash on the Personally, I drove both when I was considering a new car and decided I preferred a more powerful and sporty engine to all the features.
Originally posted by CarBuff I will answer. A little correction In 96 a was made and the The had a 2. When the E46 came out it started with the and and then when the was release the was rebadged I just want to comment on the models as Brian moderated. Brian, you are correct on many points; however, in '96 the choices were E36 bodystyles of a 6 cyl or a 4 cyl The was not made available until the '98 model year then later, as you mentioned badged as a in For the new buyer though my main point is to suggest the need for careful shopping.
After evaluating, researching, and driving different 3 series bimmers for about 4 months, I ended up buying a i. Although the is a nice car, it does not have the HP of the and I would always be playing second fiddle to the Dont settle, get the best. You wont regret it, trust me.
Go and drive both back to back. You dont lose any performance in the sedan, it is more rigid, and personally I think that it is much more expensive looking than the coupe. I have been looking at the BMW 3 series. Looking at the convertibles and finally ordered one that will be in in a few weeks.

There are a lot of well specced ones in the classifieds. Mark MWstewart has retrofitted heated seats to an E46 M3, so you shouldn't have all too much difficulty in fitting them. My last ci was k and it showed!!!!! I want sub 60k but I notice when they do come along they are up in i M Sport price ranges. Smuler 2, posts months. This was an auto, so no good for you anyway, but I guess the reasoning is that they are a sought after niche car for those who prefer the older BMW. I miss my old E46 in many ways, and would never have gone E92 in any car other than i. Guess it depends what you want car for. Apart from oil leak which was an expensive head gasket off repair job , car was superb, so don't see why a well looked after ci can't go further than my car did.
StuTheGrouch 5, posts months. The is my second e46 BMW had the before. When I was looking it had to be a face lift model, M sport and manual. I wanted the HK stereo and heated seats, but simply could not find them and concluded that the M sport models didn't have heated seats.
That might not be correct, but they certainly are rare! I love mine. It's on k miles now and is generally is very good condition. I chased an oil leak around for a bit, some of it was due to older gaskets but the CVV caused oil leak issues too- all fixed now. Vee 3, posts months. OP - I might be misunderstanding what you're saying here, so forgive me if I am. Are you saying you'd sacrifice the engine in order to get heated seats? There is so much wrong with that I don't know where to start!!
If you're that desperate for bum warmers I don't know why just get them retrofitted. FWIW I drove an E39 with these two engines and once you try the 30i there is no way you'll settle for a 25i.
