Who owns irving

There's been a major shake-up in the corporate holdings of New Brunswick's wealthiest family. Irving Oil announced Friday that the company's owner, the Arthur Irving Family Trust, had bought out Jack Irving's family and assumed full ownership of the company. His daughter, Sarah, is executive vice-president of Irving Oil and is widely seen as his heir apparent.

He was listed as a director of Irving Oil Ltd. Jack Irving was believed to have owned one-third of Irving Oil, a stake that passed to his children after his death in John Irving has two siblings, Colin and Anne. Major players. Although around a dozen companies operate oil refineries in Canada, only three companies — Imperial Oil, Shell Canada and Suncor Energy — operate more than one refinery and market products nationally.

These companies largely fall under four umbrellas: J. Irving Limited whose many segments include forestry, food, construction and transportation , Brunswick News newspapers , Irving Oil oil refining and marketing and Ocean Capital Holdings real estate, radio, construction and materials. We now have five cent Higgs who hates the poor and loves his masters but McKenna or Dom LeBlanc are no better and neither are those who cave in or worship the family. We get what we deserve but on a good note the two owners are near the end of their lives an may be thinking that all that church going and chapel building will not keep them from an inferno like the one they helped create at Lac Megantic.

I suspect the family will soon be at each others throats spurred on by the various management teams that support them. I am highly impressed by the investigative effort and quality that went into this article. My mom who recently died at 92, spent most of her life in Nova Scotia and always called K.

If Irving left N. John must be an Irving employee. Always truly disgusting to think about the Irvin, have not paid their share of tax in my lifetime. They spray poison glysophate on the citizens of NB and elsewhere and causing illness in people and many animals, the pictures of growths on undulates I have seen is truly disturbing they can be allowed to do this. If Irving closed their doors there would be a flurry of economic activity as local entrepreneurs started business. Money would be made, taxed and spent in our communities.

The Irving companies are an economic vacuum that suckes up New Brunswickers opportunities, tax money and natural resources. A cancer on our province. This story on them, is their ripping off us Newbrunswickers. How the heck can we do worse without them. Sounds like Abbie Moser need to run for premier. Same price no matter where you buy it. They trample any competition, pay a mere pittance in taxes, and control the media. Its about time that someone wrote something of real truth behind the company that kills and ruins forestry…jobs and people from all the poison that they spray all over the province including our water ways and land that people grow food on.

Irving needs to go and New Brunswick needs some competition. Thanks so much for this very needed article. Even as a NBer I was not aware of the scale of the atrocities. How are you doing Abbie Moser after this incredible article? Canada desperately needs people like you to reveal who the robber barons are.

I am not against anyone becoming very rich as long as it is accomplished honestly, ethically and with complete integrity. Hit the nail on the head ….. Absolutely disgusting!!!!
